Why do we need troops over seas.. i have all the army men in my toilet.
So..today started out a wonderful day.. the toilet problem got worse thursday and i had to call someone to come out and fix it.. after a few hours of doing what plumbers do best.. besides show thier crack.. we pulled out... 73 army men, 6 tiddly winks, 3 pairs of little boy socks, 3 cat toys, one partially chewed dog rawhide chew toy, 3 pairs of underwear (also little boys), 6 leggos, and the partridge in the pear tree.. looking at my son in disbelif all he could say to me was he was "sowwie" I am really not sure i want to see the bill on this one. I now have my toilet back and it is working wonderfully. I can not however lock the thing because my child is potty trained and does use it.. how ever the not flushing things down the toilet lesson should be great fun. . on another note.. i have a very interesting dog i might add.. apparently there is a way to make a beagle look like a poodle.. our beagle go into a fight with something in the back yard and had to be taken to the vet.. he is fine however and will make a full recovery.. however he did have to have a little hair cut so that they could stitch him back together and now he looks like a poodle.. shaved by the back end, around one of the front ankles and part of his tail.. it is the most hillarious site i have seen. the dog however is not finding any of this the least bit funny. well enjoy my dear streamers and until we meet again. i bid you good night..
The holidays for me have been all right. First my hubby's truck decideds that because we are getting Christmas presents it should too..so it gets a new alternator...now not to be out done, but realizing that it is fairley new.. my car wants new spark plugs and a fuel pressure regulator...Merry Christmas to the vehicals!!! Second on Christmas Day my ex decideds to show up and play and active roll in his son's life (now 5)..he breaks the news to my son that my hubby is not his real dad..my son is sent screaming out of the room... my son wont talk to me for 3 days..and is convinced that I have made his whole life a lie.. Just a side note: We did sit down and have the talk...the son is still confused, but glad we told him the truth... wants to spend a weekend with his real father..has told my husband that he is still trully his father... Couple days after christmas the dog that I have had for 16 years.. mind you I am 25 so I have had him since I was 9..had to be put to sleep..he was not eating or walking.. he had been very sick..R.I.P Buddy Day after Christmas got to upgrade my cell phone.. it was about time.. old one was being held together with electrical tape.. it was handy at the time all right... anyway...so i have one of these new fangled Razr phones and I cant figure out how to work anything on it.. I still think its cool.. there is some large debate on weither it is purple, rose or pink in my house.. best friend has the same one and hers is a darker pink... but i digress....went to the hubby's parents to watch the Packers/Bears game out of Soilder Field.. Bears Lose 23-7.. Packer s are happy now we sit and wait...Will it be Bret Farve's last game?? Didnt he say that for the last like 5 years in a row now..Well 10 minuets into the game my son is passed out (and he calls himself a football fan) just kidding he is only 5.. I wake him up at 11 to see if he would like to see the ball drop and he says to me.. mom i have seen the same thing every year for 4 years.. i think i know how it ends.. now i am rolling on the floor laughing, because never once i have i missed the drop and im 25!! So now for new years day I am going to spend it doing a little cleaning, writting thank you notes from christmas, and just generally enjoying my last day of vacation... Ok so I have been faced with a dilemma. How do you tell a 5 year old that the strange man that he got presents from this year is his biological father and that the man that he thinks is his true father is actually a really close friend of mommy's that was there when she needed him most and took the father responseabilities when the other would not? I have asked myself this many times since christmas. My ex came over on Christmas Day with some presents for my son, well actually our son. It is the first time that he has ever come in person to deliever them. I usually would get them dropped off at work or something and then my little ankle bitter would open them on Christmas day. He would of course always ask me who this person was. So then this Christmas when his real dad decides to actually play an active part in the fe3stivities, he was confronted with the fact that this was his real dad. It didnt help the my ex said to him " Do you remember me? Im your father." This of course sent my son screaming from the room. Oh Joy...My ex on the other hand knows that I am happily married and that he screwed up by leaving me 7 months pregnate and with little money. In step my hubby. We have been friends for years and he was there whenever I had a fight or something went wrong with the relationship I was having with my ex. When my ex decied to leave me for someone else (who has two kids, what the heck??) I went to my now hubby not knowing what to do. He gave me a roof over my head and food in my stomach.. and when it came time for me to have my little one he was there right beside me coaching me through the whole thing. I even had it changed when my son was 2 and we eventually got married that it was his name on my son's birth certificate. Now my 5 year old thinks that I have lied to him all his life and wont even talk to me. He has turned to my hubby ( he still calls him dad however) as asks all sorts of questions. Now here I am feeling like a failure as a mother and a complete liar.. So how do I sit a 5 year old down and tell him the turth??? and make it so he actually understands it. I want his real father to have a relationship with him, most likely steming from my lack there of relationship with my father, but right now it seems so hard. I guess I should have known the day would come. Just not this soon.. Well it is late and I do have things to do tomarrow. Good night my beloved Streamers.. Rachy
I have been a little strapped for cash this year and I had to do some last minuet shopping. Well the alternator went in the hubby's truck and the major belt on my car went too.. I have been out of work sick for the last 5 days and then I was out for over a week and a half before that with my sick kid. So...after all of that.. there was all of like 100 dollars in our bank account until after the first. My mom helped with gas and groceries and a couple other things. I then realized that the money that I was going to buy my mom and stepdad and sis and bro and thier families with is gone... except for the 30 dollars I had in my pocket.. Im not touching what is in the bank. SO I went to the dollar store to get some last minuet paper and saw all these cute toys for the kids. I found a stunning vase, and a chop stick set. (my sister loves sushi) found a mug for mom she has been saying she needs a new one and a trumpet figuren for my stepdad who collects anything music realted. So after that 20 bucks that leaves me ten.. aww enough to give to my baby brother in a card.. Now does shopping at the dollar store make me cheap??
As I log on today to check my emails. I am greeted by my home page that tells me my current weather (cold, rainy, and foggy) it also tells me what is on my local channels, what is going on in the world today and almost everything that I want to know. What should pop up, but a artical about the most hated person in the world. Who is it should you ask?? Why none other than President Bush. Now I am not sure how many of you are Bush Supports, but I can not stand the man. I am sorry but our troops should have been out of the middle east and home a long time ago. Now I do not say this just because I do not believe in violence and blood shead, but because I have family and friends over there and I would like to see them come home. I see our boys (and girls) over there, but yet I dont see anything being accomplished except the body count rising. I will say again BRING OUR TROOPS HOME!!
